Windows Remote Assistance

Windows provides a facility that allows the user to request assistance from a remote user. This allows you to invite someone you trust to help you. Using an Internet connection, anyone running Windows XP can chat with you, view your screen, and with your permission, work on your computer. This is accessed as described below.

From the Start button (botton left) select "Help and Support":

This should be resonably secure. When the recipient gets the email they will be able to remote desktop unto your PC and perhaps be able to help.
